When a milk molar is badly broken down by decay, a simple filling often cannot hold up to the forces of chewing. A stainless steel crown is a pre-formed metal cap that covers the entire tooth, protecting it from further decay and fracture. It is one of the most reliable and time-tested restorations in pediatric dentistry.

The crown is fitted and cemented in a single visit, immediately restoring full chewing function. It stays in place until the milk tooth falls out naturally, at which point the crown comes out with it – keeping the tooth working and holding space for the permanent tooth underneath.

Who is it for?
