Straightening your teeth is only half the journey — keeping them straight is the other half. Teeth have a natural tendency to drift back toward their original positions after braces or aligners are removed, a process called relapse. Retainers hold your teeth in their new positions while the bone and gums stabilise around them.

We provide both removable retainers (clear, Essix-type trays or Hawley plates) and fixed retainers (a thin wire bonded discreetly behind the front teeth), and advise the right combination and wear schedule for your case. Regular follow-up visits let us check that your result is holding beautifully for years to come.
